QUALITY JOBS
As important as the T’s passengers are the people that work on the trains themselves. We put our safety and trust in MBTA workers to transport us safely and on time to our destinations. Their jobs makes living in our global, dynamic city possible and their compensation should match the level of responsibility they carry. The MBTA should lead the way in lifting the income standard of our communities to one that allows workers to provide for themselves and their family and engage in the local economy like the passengers on the T.
